FUDTA Town Hall
Thank you for your interest in attending FUDTA's first town hall.
The exact date and location for the town hall is TBD, but we are planning for it to be held in the spring.
At this town hall, we plan on discussing issues that affect the children of Fremont and their education, such as:
The Fremont Unified School District Board of Education passed a resolution on November 20, 2019, calling for an election for a parcel tax.
SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES FIRST INITIATIVE
The Fremont Unified School District Board of Education passed a resolution on January 16, 2019, supporting The California Schools and Local Communities Funding Act (CSLCFA).

STATE OF NEGOTIATIONS BETWEEN FUSD AND FUDTA
FUDTA routinely negotiates on behalf of Fremont's educators with FUSD. Compensation is always a topic in negotiations, as inflation is an inescapable reality for all workers. But negotiations cover much more than just salary. We also bargain for smaller class sizes, more support services for students, teacher voice in developing and implementing curriculum, and many other issues important to students.
