FUDTA has many committees that support the work of our mission.

BARGAINING Team
The Bargaining Team works to improve, enhance, and strengthen the contract negotiated between the Association and the District.
ELECTIONS
The Elections Committee works to ensure FUDTA elections are fair, accurate, and credible, as well as to involve all members in the electoral process.
INSTRUCTIONAL AND PROF. DEVELOPMENT
The Instructional and Professional Development Committee works to create content that is not otherwise provided by FUSD for our members.
ORGANIZING Team
The Organizing Team works to mobilize our members in advocacy of our shared professional interests.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The Community Engagement Committee works to engage with parents, students, and other members of the community in advocacy of shared interests with educators.
EQUITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS
The Equity and Human Rights Committee works to create a more equitable union and public education system.
Member Engagement
The Member Engagement Committee works to engage unit members in FUDTA goings-on and offer members benefits of unionism.
POLITICAL ACTION
The Political Action Committee works to support positions, candidates, and issues recommended by FUDTA/CTA/NEA.
CONTRACT CONSTRUCTION
The Contract Construction Committee prepares for negotiations, gathers representative groups to formulate proposals, and makes sure that FUDTA represents all members in their group.
GRIEVANCE
The Grievance Committee works to educate members and Site Representatives of contractual rights, as well as to facilitate the grievance process.
NEW EDUCATOR TASK FORCE
The New Educator Task Force works to support educators new both to public education and to Fremont.
